Learn 200 Spanish Words

Spanish is the second most-common language in the United States, which is home to a to 40 million native spanish speakers. By number of native speakers, Spanish is the second biggest language in the world (behind only Mandarin). Learning a Foreign Language not only a facilitates our ability to interact with multiple communities but also opens the gateway to understand different cultures.

This course will introduce young children to basic spanish words that will help them in a better understanding of spanish speaking people and their culture.

60 minutes virtual class every week, for 3rd grade to 7th grade students interested in learning 200 basic Spanish words within 10 weeks.

Volunteers will be awarded volunteering hours for the time spent on working in this project.
